The youth at Pelletier have traveled journeys marred with more obstacles and roadblocks than their tender years should have allowed. Our caring staff recognizes the need for youth to journey inward in order to address their struggles and to begin the painful process of reconciling with those who have eaten away at their self-worth. Most of all we want youth to embark on a journey to rediscover the self that slipped through the cracks.

A Hero’s Story – A Young Girls’ Fighting Spirit is Now Inspiring Others

Yessinia V. is not your average teenager. She was abused by her father from the age of 2 until she was nine. When she finally escaped from that situation after friends of her sister told authorities, she spent the next four years bouncing between various foster homes, group homes and treatment centres as she struggled not only with her past, but with new drug problems as well.

Message from the Chair
It is a great honour for me to be the Chair of the Board of Pelletier as we approach our 30th Anniversary year. I look at the past and present members of our volunteer Board and see the countless hours of dedication and commitment that they have contributed to making this organization what it is today. I am now tasked to follow many notable past chairs, two of whom are still active Board members! I thank you for making my role easier because of your diligence.
